Meet the team of optometrists serving Brisbane locals

Eyecare Plus Ashgrove team

Headed up by Brisbane optometrist Sally Stevens (formally of Artios Optometry and Roberts Alexander Optometrists), this friendly optometry practice located in the leafy western suburb of Ashgrove looks after patients across Brisbane - from Ipswich in the south to North Lakes in the north.

With special interests in behavioural optometry and vision therapy, our team can look after all your eyecare needs including general eye examinations.

Our warm and welcoming team hand-select unique and beautiful quality frames and sunglasses, and take the time to personalise your consultation.

We love to support other local businesses, and that's why we use Australian-made lenses - only the best for you!

Arguably Brisbane's most stylish practice, our vision is to provide a locally owned, friendly and professional service for families in the area, so come in and check out our beautiful showroom.

After 20+ years of providing eyecare in private practices around south-east QLD such as Artios Optometry and Roberts Alexander Optometrist; Sally saw an opportunity to begin her own practice with practice manager, Jasmine, in late 2020. With a passion for individualised vision solutions, Sally takes the time to listen to her clients’ needs.

Sally has been a Fellow of the Australasian College of Behavioural Optometry since 2008. More recently, Sally has completed her accreditation in neuro-optometric care enabling comprehensive assessment and treatment of people who have had an acquired brain injury.

Sally is also a registered provider for the Smart Eye Start initiative, run by Optometry Queensland and Northern Territory (OQNT). This initiative recommends eye examinations for all children before commencing prep and before commencing high school.

As a local Ashgrovian with two children at local schools, you may see her with her family out for bike rides or in the grocery aisle. Sally is passionate about providing exceptional eyecare to the community.
